Lindsay Jacoby, a successful woman by any measure, took her life by jumping four stories to the street below. She lived in a 3.6 million dollar home, had two young children, and from the outside looking in, she had life by the tail. I’m not going to venture a guess as to why she did this terrible deed, but in the suicides I’ve been “close” to I can make an observation as to what leads up to this taking place. I live in a retirement community. Suicides aren’t unusual. Life has no meaning and so why continue. My neighbor took his life by shooting himself with a shotgun in the bathroom in the middle of the night. He suffered from ill health as almost all of us do in our latter years. He didn’t want to be hooked up to “tubes and wires” and lay suffering till he died. His father had done the same thing. His wife slept through the event and didn’t realize what happened till morning. She could open the bathroom door just enough to see blood on the walls. That’s ugly. The last suicide I personally was close to happened the same way; a shotgun in the bathtub. Taking your life happens when you’ve reached a point of self absorbed conflict in your mind. Nothing outside of you matters. To hell with your spouse having to find what you’ve done. For some it’s kind of a payback to those that wronged them. The ones you leave behind won’t forget witnessing what you’ve done. I know there are varied clinical reasons for suicide but one thing to me is clear; there was no love left for anybody. Lindsay had two young children. They’re going to live with that their whole life. When you leave a child by suicide or just dumping them off somewhere, they blame themselves. To the ones left behind whether child or adult the feeling is the same. Empty resolve that their was a good reason for leaving this world and you somehow are guilty. Sometimes we look back and do realize we could have done more to give them hope. We don’t do things sometimes because the cost is high. Time. Money. Heartache. We’ve spent a lot of that already in our lives. But we can’t shift the blame to ourselves as many times people don’t want to be helped; they don’t want our kind of love. The best and only thing we can offer them is the love of Christ. If people believed the Creator of everything knows how may hairs are on their head they would seek Him, find Him, and receive what they need most, that being eternal life. Jesus said that knowing God is eternal life. Living life on earth isn’t worth the labor of it. It’s eternal life that makes this life of value.

Years ago in Coeur d’Alene Idaho the Aryan Nation obtained a permit for a parade through the downtown area. The media and politicians got everyone excited and the whole community rallied around opposing the group. They even formed the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations to combat the fringe group. As I recall there were about twenty members that marched that day in the city of Coeur d’Alene. Because of the over reaction to this group the city spent $100,000 on extra security; this for a parade which no one watched. That’s $5000 per participant in the march. This is lunacy; this is leftist thinking-imagining crisis, getting everyone riled, and of course spending money. For years democrats/leftist have been driving a wedge between the races for political gain and they are to blame for the predicament we are in today. Antifa has inherited the baton passed from Marxist, to communist, and finally to a brainwashed youth who are ripe for the idiot brigades necessary to destroy freedom. The day of the useful idiot has arrived. These goons use violence against Nazis and other people they deem less holy than they. And on top of that they decide who is deserving of violence. If you say anything they don’t like it’s punch time. It won’t be long till the killing starts. Those nasty skin heads and such aren’t nice people but at least in Idaho they were mostly an irritation. But antifa types are moving steadily to violence thinking they are doing the work of god and they are god. They are romanticizing violence and our youth are starting to believe violence is the proper way to oppose us nasty white people. Just being white will be enough to bring their wrath upon us. For years they’ve been taught that white is wrong and anything any minority does is right. My advise is to stay alert and well armed. Realize how fast we can slide into civil war. This is what they want. This is what they will get and may the Lord have mercy on the minorities that disagree.

And even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. (Romans 1: 28) I just read a story about scientists experimenting with two sperm to make a “baby”. They have been successful with rats and now they will start on humans. Their purpose is to make it possible for homosexual men to produce a child that have their personal genetics. Of course they have to find a woman to carry the child to term but it would allow our society to become what the first chapter of Romans describes. Just imagine making a baby without needing a woman except for incubation. I’m sure this is more government funded research aimed at the ultimate dissolving of the natural family. This only promotes the further desire of men to be more selfish, more unwilling to compromise, more unkind. It is marriage to a woman that puts a man in jeopardy of denying himself total dedication to perversion. It’s not convenient for perverted men to be married so they must invent ways to procreate with as little interference from the opposite sex as possible. And women support this debauchery. Perhaps women are tired of trying to make it with men. That may be why homosexuality is accepted by, even encouraged by them. What the verse in Romans tells us is how God reacts when we deny His natural laws. He gives men and women over to reprobate thinking, that is unacceptable thinking in the site of God. Men seek to make themselves unredeemable which is to say they make themselves a god. Romans 1:22-25 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Women are, at the same time, rejecting men. Men and women are controlled by sin. Men are tired of women controlling them and women are tired of the same. Furthermore it is impossible in their flesh to want to be “controlled” by the Spirit of God. There is none righteous, none that seek God, and that is why men and women have become unprofitable or should we say unable to produce anything of value to God. It is only through Christ that we can do anything for God. Nothing has changed since Eden. It was together that Adam and Eve partook of the fruit of good and evil and men and women have ever since decided they know good from evil. It is pretty obvious nothing could be further from the truth.

If you are Christian I’m sure you have struggled with Hell. The whole idea is repulsive. What kind of God even creates such a place. If the Bible is true and Satan knows it, why doesn’t he just stop what he’s doing and make God a liar? The problem Satan has is the same one we have; he is a slave to sin. We believe we suffer for our sins here on earth and surely a loving and just God wouldn’t send anyone to such a place especially those who call themselves Christians.

The Bible says our hearts are extremely wicked and who can know it? God knows it. I think the only way to eradicate sin from the universe is to eliminate the very thoughts of the wicked heart. In hell there is no time for thoughts of evil. Selfishness of every kind is impossible because there is no way to consider it. There is only remorse. Remorse is the constant thought in hell. This is the only reason I can come up with. I just think it’s the only way to stop people from sinning.

A social worker in Italy had sex with an eleven year old girl. He was sentenced to five years in prison for the offense. The supreme court of Italy overturned the verdict stating that the lower courts hadn’t taken into consideration the amorous relationship between the child and the molester. Their decision was based on a previous case involving a thirteen year old and a thirty four year old.

This illustrates the slippery slope that the civilized world is on. The reality is that the teaching of evolution saturates our society. Our young have been taught that man is nothing more than an intelligent animal. If we are truly animals then anything we do must be acceptable. If there is no God that holds us responsible, then deviant behaviors become acceptable. By perverting marriage the supreme court of the United States has opened Pandora’s box.  This why we get politics instead of justice.
