Peace on earth, goodwill toward men. That was the message given to shepherds 2000 years ago. The event, the birth of Jesus Christ, was to offer to men a way to have peace with God. Men were sinners, an affront to the purpose of God. The Bible says that God is angry with the world continually. He loves His creation (us) but hates the evil we do.

He never offered freedom from war, because only men can offer peace to one another. It’s interesting to note that in the millennial reign Christ, He will rule with a rod of iron. If there is to be peace with men, it appears that men aren’t very cooperative just because Jesus Christ is on the throne.

We are told that, if it is at all possible, to live in peace with men and we are to protect and take care of the widow and the fatherless. Mankind is always on the path of doing wrong deeds. When men debase themselves to the point of wanton killing of the innocent and defenseless, it is our duty to intervene.

But let’s get back to having peace with God. Being at war with God has dire consequences for our souls and our eternal security. Because loves us He offers us the gift of Jesus Christ, His son, to pay the price for our sin. Jesus humbled himself to a position He can not rise from, that is, Christ becoming a man. Jesus cannot be unborn, He cannot not undo death on the cross, He cannot undo the feeling of being rejected by His father. He paid what His father required. It is finished. We have a choice to make, following Christ or following ourselves.

So we say Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! To make our “merry” and “happy” eternal, we need to accept that gift from an angry God. He’s still angry at the world and will be more so with those who reject so gracious a gift.

I’ve been on twitter for a couple of months and have to admit at best it’s enlightening and at worst, depressing and a waste of time. Depressing because it’s hard to believe the proud stupidity of so many and like all the other screens we watch, nothing productive comes of it. There is a desire by many to achieve “followers” but basically twitter is just a tangent reminder of how divided our country is. There just doesn’t seem to be middle ground anymore.

Mayor Pete (certainly not my pick for president) has suddenly been accused of systemic racism, not being gay enough (?), and among other sins, having worn of all things the Salvation Army apron in a picture. Not that I’m feeling sorry for Pete but I’m sorry for how everyone must parse their words ever so more carefully to avoid the rage crowd.

These nutty but dangerous monitors of everyone’s malfeasance are products of a Marxist college system countrywide. The only way to put some kind of brakes on the madness is to remove government funding from non-producing citizens. Working in the private sector may shake some sense into those whose reality is Google-based.

But let’s look at the hypocrisy of the lunatics. The Salvation Army is known for all the work it does for the poor. Indeed, it lives up to the vision of the founder, William Booth. Of course that’s the problem the left have-it was founded by a minister of the Christian faith and remains Christian today. You would think that the work they do would be applauded by anyone but in the minds of the left, the only “good” must come and be accredited to the state not to God. It is Christ that is their enemy and it is Jesus Christ and the faithful that must be extinguished. To them it is they who are good and Christians who are evil.

Jesus told the story of the good Samaritan, how he helped the person that had been robbed and left in the ditch to die. In the eyes of the Jews the Samaritans were just worthless half-breeds, much like the left think of us. In the story, I don’t think the fellow in the ditch cared who was helping him. It would’ve been nice if the Jews walking down the road had helped him, but alas the good deed was left to someone of “less” value, a Samaritan or in today’s world, the Salvation Army. And today the left forbid businesses giving to the Salvation Army. They face the rage mob if they don’t comply. Leading the Gestapo are the LGBTQ biology deniers. They are ruthless thugs just like the Nazis were and we have given them too much power and power corrupts the morals and the judgement. That being said, we must for the sake of our children and the world at large, be bold in holding the line against the ravaging desires of sinful men.

The president of the United States is supposedly supreme commander of the U. S. military. Everybody thinks that’s so, well not everybody. There are an entrenched bunch of military officers who believe they know what our military should be doing and so, like all the resisters in the Deep State, they openly defy our president. The words that follow example what is part and parcel to the way our government officials respond to their leader.

President Kennedy remarked at how frustrating it was to implement anything which he desired because by the time it worked its way through the government machine, it hardly resembled what he had in mind. Now over fifty years later the government machine has become an albatross around the neck of the nation, dictating conflicting regulations and rules on everyone including whoever is in the Oval Office.

When Donald Trump was elected, things suddenly changed. There was a real man in that Oval Office and having worked with the New York equivalent of the D.C. monster, he had learned what made it tick and knew how corrupt it all was. This is the reason for the hatred of Donald Trump. Those entrenched bureaucrats have multiplied and form an army of entitled workers. And even the military have their own little piece of the control-freak pie. It’s all funded by debt, ever-mounting debt. So the new kid in town has no friends; he has enemies.

Considering that the richest counties in the U.S. surround Washington D.C. it’s easy to understand why the hate is so great. A lot of useless workers will lose the nipple they suck on. The public on the other hand is different. Opposition on the left derives from a hatred of capitalism and all of its supporting structures. Journalists are, by far, extreme left in their thinking as they’ve gone to the same Marxist loving/America hating colleges as most everyone else. So, with the media beating the drum of hatred and a myriad of organisations from the ACLU to Soros-funded covert coup conspirators, the millennial age voter is very maneuverable. They are not motivated by the truth and the consequences there of, but are driven by their emotions which are easily provoked. Their world view has been shaped increasingly with media exposure and much less by logic and common sense. Media has made it possible to create realities that do not exist but still have the power to shape the ideas ignorant people honor with committed allegiance.

U.S. Navy Admiral Davidson ordered U.S. troops to train with the Communist Chinese troops. President Trump had placed General Camera second in command to those forces but U.S. Rear Admiral Collin Green countered that measure and furthermore in defiance to our president said he was going to severely punish Navy Seal Chief Petty Officer Gallagher that President Trump had cleared of all charges. So even some of our military commanders are up in arms about having their stranglehold on power questioned.

We are in the fight of our lives. All liberty is at stake. If you don’t participate, the twerking crowd will destroy everything, and what has taken centuries to maintain will be lost forever. That thing lost is called freedom and the opportunity only comes on the scene once in history. Use all of your energy and resources to fight the good fight. We must not fail. The Left will fight hard and dirty. Hollywood, all of media is against the moral building blocks of our families. They teach perversion of biology in school to facilitate their sexual desires because their desire for unnatural sex is insatiable. The age of consent must be lowered in their minds and it most easily will be achieved if children are sexualized and then clamor for it themselves. We do not want to relive the agony of Lot.

At the end of January 2019, China boosted its gold reserves by 12 tons. That’s a total of U.S. $79.319 billion dollars. Gold prices surged on the news. Their foreign exchange reserves rose by over $15 billion U.S. with the yuan hitting its high against the dollar in a six months period. Much of this rise was driven by imagined progress in the U.S./China trade talks.

The central banks of the world have also been on a gold buying binge, Russia was the lead nation buying gold in its bid to reduce reliance on the U.S. dollar.

What are governments up to? By purchasing gold they are taking more of it out of the hands of the public as the price is driven up. On top of that, gold is purchased with “printed” money, fiat currency, which lowers the value of the rest of paper assets in circulation. The private sector (main street) should hold the bulk of gold available, not the government. When crisis comes, which it always does, I believe the banks are preparing best they can for the next crisis. We must prepare too.

The central banks of the world won’t get as much of a bailout next time and because FED rates are low, it will be hard to reduce rates to stimulate the economy. However, banks will be allowed to confiscate a percentage of customers funds as banks in Greece did. This is known as a bail-in. For twenty years I’ve kept about 20% of my funds in gold and silver. Stocks will crash again and this ratio blunts the effect of the crash because gold and silver surge when the market crashes.

As an example, if one has $10,000 invested, the ration would be $8000 in stocks and $2000 in gold. If stocks fall like they did in the “Great Recession”, I would lose $3200 on stocks, but gain about $1000 in gold. My loss is cut by 30% because I owned gold. And if I purchase gold at dips when I accumulate it, I would possibly lose nothing. I’m not a financial adviser so don’t take this as gospel. I only comment on what I’ve observed in the past.
