Thank God the government is shut down. All Congress does is mess up our lives, so thanks God; I’m grateful. Maybe if it remained shut for six months people would realize we really don’t need these clowns.

Jerry Brown signed over one thousand bills into law. The U.S. Congress passes an average of seven hundred plus bills a year. Thankfully last year only ninety-seven became law. So this year Californians have to obey eleven hundred plus new rules. New laws aren’t usually rescinded. Year after year they stack up. None of us know what most of these laws are and break them on a regular basis. The whole idea that Congress must pass laws to do their job is ludicrous.

What they spend their time doing is writing legislation to satisfy certain lobbies or supporters. This isn’t to say that we shouldn’t lobby Congress to do certain things that benefit all but usually, it’s for the benefit of the few and mostly for those who want to have injustice demands coddified in law. There are freedom-hating people who want to dictate to us how to live our lives and as far as I am concerned that is evil.

Power always corrupts the morals and judgment of those that attain it. The only reason to have power is to use it. Somehow this simple thing is ill-understood by the voters. The idea that government passes hundreds of laws for our good is at best ludicrous. If we don’t want to slip into the stranglehold of the tyrannical left we must at all cost defeat them in the arena of ideas. We must force them to defend their wicked ideas because they are not as kind and compassionate as they portray. If they don’t get their way, they too will don black boots and come to our door, demanding submission to their god. We can’t let scum destroy what so many have paid such a high price to preserve. Understand what’s at stake, speak out, don’t be afraid of their violence. Teach your children about right and wrong and defy the sanctimonious ideas of ungrateful, spoiled children.

It is no secret that the statist cabal is fighting tooth and nail to keep the people in darkness. I’ve watched the slime build in the government bureaucracy cup for years and now it overflows. Nothing is hidden to those that are looking. It is sad that the majority are still uninformed, prejudiced, bigoted haters of God but that is the way it has always been. Many are awake in some fashion but the haters outnumber the truthers. Many on the “right” side of history still don’t realize the bloody battle ahead.

If you understand how many dead bodies lie in the Clinton path to victory then you can grasp the intent and desperation of these snakes to wrestle power back from the hubris of Donald Trump. We’ve witnessed the violence the left demonstrates so freely. There are those in my family and friends who have come completely unglued from reality and believe the obvious lies of the left. The media have come out of the closet completely and want to destroy Donald Trump.

There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that the election was stolen from the witch and her followers. All this relentless searching for evidence to support their claims has no fruit, but they continue because they know from past experience that if you tell a lie often enough people will believe it.

A few emails from Donald Trump Jr. is a big deal but the thirty-three thousand Hillary erased and the eleven laptops and Blackberry’s her minions destroyed? Nothing there to see. Ho hum. So the hard drives were smashed what could that mean but Hillary and the DNC are good upright people.

I’m tired of the Democrats. I’m wary of anyone that supports them. And the Republicans? We need a whole new batch of heroes if we’re going to save this nation. This brings me to the main reason I write this article and that is to remember why it’s so important to start the day out with scripture. Being reminded of simple truths prevents us from being overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.

Luke 11:17 “But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, every kingdom divided against itself is brought to ruin, and a house divided against itself shall fall.” Our house is falling. It’s that simple. These wonderful benefactors are collapsing the kingdom. Another little reminder from scripture comes in Daniel 2:20-21 “Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever: for wisdom and might are his; and he changeth the times and the seasons; he removeth kings, and setteth up kings.

Whether it’s Obama, Trump or whoever, God sets kings up for His purpose.

A seven-year-old girl died at the U.S. border holding area. And of course, according to the biggest haters of children (our self-righteous leftists), it’s the fault of Donald Trump and his nasty idea of controlling who enters our country.

I wonder if the father was as dehydrated as his little daughter. She didn’t need a drink; she needed an I.V. Is it possible that in his haste to make the hard journey to our border that he neglected the needs of his child? I venture to say that this poor child had been without water and food for some time. Somehow she makes it to the U.S. border. The people making that trip were lucky the border station was there. It was like arriving at an oasis.

If the border patrol wasn’t there no attempt would have been possible to save her life. They tried, they failed, all because a father dragged his little girl through a dry, hopeless country with no thought that she might perish. It was his decision. He was wrong. And it’s wrong to blame good men at the border who, when made aware of the situation, did everything they could to save her life. Shame on the Democratic Party for using her tragic death for the dirty business of politics.

Talking to a friend who attends an “inclusive” church gave me an understanding as to how people can stray so far from the message of the Bible. As they’re going out the door they tell me it doesn’t really matter to them if Mary was a virgin or not. Really? I believe many of our churches have become social clubs or halfway houses for those trying to deal with or maybe justify and become comfortable with their sin. Before I comment further let me quote a reference to the words of Isaiah in Acts 8:31-33 from the Message Bible.

As a sheep led to slaughter, and quiet as a lamb being sheared, He was silent, saying nothing, He was mocked and put down, never got a fair trial.

The eunuch asked Philip who that was talking about. Answer: Jesus, and he came to die for sin.

So was Jesus just a bastard, an illegitimate child? Was Mary a girl that slept around? In those days bed hopping wasn’t as popular as it is today as it was punishable by death. Or was she raped by some frat boy? Was Jesus just another slob on the bus? What then was special about him? Was he a good little boy; did he become an eagle scout? What, what pray tell was significant about Jesus Christ if not his being the offspring of God himself?

The virgin birth is as important as the death and resurrection of Jesus. Jesus hung on a cross between two thieves. If he was just a sinner like me, what did he die for? This thinking is a slap in the face of God.

This inclusive ideology seems to make Christ totally at one with fallen man and therefore his death on the cross has no more meaning than any other death. God could have chosen one of the thieves for the sacrifice for sin. Maybe it’s thought that the bastard Jesus lived this sinless life and that’s what made him a perfect sacrifice.

It’s more likely that no sacrifice is necessary for sin and God just wants you to love everyone the way they are; we can work out our social problems on our own. We don’t need a savior; we can together group save ourselves. A Marvel comic book would be a better source for their belief system. The heroes and villains are obvious in the comics; there is no god; we are intelligent, we know right from wrong.

It gets back to the lie Eve believed and I’ll paraphrase: You can know good from evil, God doesn’t want you to know everything, you won’t die from the choices you make. God lied to you. You don’t need him.

Happy Holiday! Happy means favored by luck or fortune, characterized by a sense of well-being and contentment. I do really wish that for everyone. How about Holiday? That’s a day off work and also a Holy Day, a Muslim holy day that is. Merry means giving pleasure, high spirits, marked by festivity and gaiety. Christmas? A Christian feast that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. As Christians we celebrate with high spirits the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That’s why I say Merry Christmas; it’s a day to the celebrate the Prince of Peace coming to this earth.
