News. What’s happening reported in a truthful, unbiased fashion. If we are honest with ourselves we know that at best a journalist gives all the facts whilst realizing what is reported is somewhat tainted with the reporters viewpoint. Media today is blatant in its prejudiced and makes no bones about how it presents material for our consumption.
Headlines are designed to grab our attention and we understand that with so much competing for our eyes, much effort is taken to make us look their way.
I was on twitter today and checking the stories listed. Eleven Thousand Scientists Alarmed About Climate-change. Pretty dramatic, 11 thousand scientist seems like a whole bunch. However, if one does the math, the picture of panic isn’t quite so forceful.
There are somewhere between seven and eight million scientists in the world. Simple math tells us that 11000 is a paltry one and one half thousandth of a percent, not exactly everybody.
We learned today that one of the major news outlets have been sitting on the Epstein story for three years. Supposedly under pressure from the Royal Family, the story was spiked. The reporter is distraught because her story is coming out now and others are getting credit.
These are just a couple examples and explain why mainstream media is loosing viewership. The internet has released us from the clutches of those who want to manipulate our thoughts and therefore our actions. It would be nice if we didn’t have to investigate stories on our own, but that is the case. The media are biased heavily to the left; they can not be trusted.
