You have a receipt and put it away in case you need it. The day comes when you need it but to your shock it’s blank, it’s all faded away. Sure would be nice to have that receipt wouldn’t it? Most receipts are made without ink. They are made with special paper that is sensitive to heat. So the wording on the paper is created using heated printing heads. If you take your faded receipt and carefully expose it to heat, it will make the rest of the paper dark and the wording and numbers will be in “white” as it’s already been exposed to heat. Do note that the heat treated receipt should be copied as it will fade again.
Everything in this new world has become temporary. Our pictures are thousands in number but could be lost in a moment. It used to be we had some physical record. Today we have the “cloud”. It’s just make-believe. Now you see them, now you don’t. Keep a few things on paper. Even they will fade, but for a while, you can hold them in your hands.
