Unabashed Bias

The media has finally come out of their closet and boast about their opposition to American values. From forked-tongues, they spew their hate and still yet claim they are the stalwart defenders of personal rights. They readily promote the idea that it is the deplorable people on the “right” who are to blame for the current division in our country. Division is the middle name of the Democratic Party. Time after time they have wielded the race/whateverphobic card with precision and glee but now are faced with the fact that their lies aren’t necessarily believed by everyone. The internet, even with the heavy hand of Google and Facebook, has offered the individual person exposure to the forbidden fruit: truth.

This bias has been around a long time. Back when President Kennedy was assassinated, Lee Harvey Oswald was taken into custody. At least for the first few years no one question his guilt in the dirty deed. The press listed his extensive Communist associations and activities, his defection to the Soviet Union in 1959, the establishment of a pro-Castro front group in 1963, etc.

Now let’s note what the press said the day after the assassination. James Reston (New York Times) wrote that Kennedy was a victim of the far right. Reston was chief of the Times Washington Bureau. The article ran under the headline “Why America Weeps: Kennedy Victim of Violent Streak He Sought to Curb in the Nation.” Sounds to me like a vast right-wing conspiracy doesn’t it? Reston wrote: “from the beginning to the end of his administration, he was trying to damp down the violence of extremist on the Right.” The fact that Oswald was on the left didn’t seem to enter the equation.

Earl Warren stated on that dreadful night of December 22, 1963, that Kennedy suffered martyrdom as a result of the hatred and bitterness that has been injected into the life of our nation by bigots. Now we know why anyone who opposes the left are called bigots. Mansfield, majority leader in the Senate, compared Kennedy to Jesus Christ and hoped his death would end “the bigotry, hatred, prejudice, and arrogance which converged in that moment of horror to strike him down.”

I, one of millions, are tired of being called bigots, racists, and every other rotten implication these losers call us. If the swamp isn’t drained now, it never will be. We need a Red Tsunami to finally teach these treasonous criminals the word NO!
