No Comments Walls Work
The argument over the wall on our southern border is purely political. Politicians are very adept at making issues out of non-issues. In 2006 Barrack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer voted with the majority and funded the wall. Work was begun but stopped by executive order of Barrack Obama. Those “shovel ready” jobs he touted from the stimulus package was a farce. Building the wall was a “shovel” job by definition. Elites don’t like shovel-job people. That’s one of the reasons the democrats hate Donald Trump. He’s a builder, he builds things.
Seventy-seven countries have border walls, up from fifteen in 1990. So why do all these countries build walls? They serve their intended purpose which is securing the safety of their citizens. The importation of illegal “citizens” is the last thing the left has in their bucket list of things that must be accomplished in their assault on America. Our school system has taught the existing citizens to hate the Constitution of the United States and the individual freedom it offers. New citizens must be allowed in the country and bring their old country way of life with them. New immigrants must be uneducated and with a servile relationship with the state, hence perfect Democrat voters.
Pelosi, Schumer and all the rest will do what they can to stop the wall. For years the state government legislatures and governors have been more conservative. Now, with the unemployment rates being at historic lows, more poor, uneducated, undocumented Democrats need to be brought in to cement the left’s desire for a one-party system. The elite live in walled-off communities and what the unemployment rate is matters not to them; leaders always live well. So Democrat/leftist leaders win when the public they serve are ignorant and/or uneducated.
The main purpose of government is the security and protection of the citizenry. The caravans coming to our border are funded by an America-hating group out of Chicago. Anna Paulina, the Director of Hispanic Engagement at Turning Point USA, is a good place to get the whole story so there is no need for me to further drone on about the funding and other matters. I always expect that anyone reading this is capable and desirous to learn more on their own.
Do you remember the “just say no” anti-drug campaign of years ago? This is the tactic we must employ. Say no to the destruction of values and law. Don’t just talk about it with like-minded friends. Have conversations with people who haven’t done much thinking before. As Ronald Raegan said that liberals believe a lot of things that are not so. They must be taught. Not all can be reached but as close as elections are these days, each one counts.
