No Comments White Teeth
Watching the news the other day I was struck by the plastic, phony characters that delivered the days events to me. The girl scrambled through a half dozen stories non-stop. Without missing a breath she went from four deaths in tornados in Tennessee to some famous “star” and their current situation. We wouldn’t want to pause too long on the dead would we now. Then I was struck and almost blinded by her dazzling white teeth. After her part of the skit was over, it was smile after smile on everyone’s face. That many people surely couldn’t be happy so early in the morning. People are being replaced by robots in the workplace and the people that bring us the news, sports, and weather everyday are (in my opinion) in great danger. Those white teeth and smiles and mechanical happiness can no doubt be replicated and maybe, just maybe most of us wouldn’t notice the switch.
